Confidence Shipping prides itself in being the 1st Indian company to initiate many a programs to open services to International Ship Owners and Managers.

• In 1983, CSC was the first to enter into a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the International Trade Federation (ITF)-London and National Union of Seafarers of India (NUSI) to provide Indian certified sea fares at a competitive rate to run safe ship operations for ship owners for OECD Countries

• CSC was the first to be awarded the Quality Assurance certification by the Dutch Council – DNV under ISO 9001 in 1994

• CSC was the first Indian company to provide off-shore (BPO service) for accounting for ship owners and their vessels, disbursement of seafarer wages, monthly accounting system for ship owners and the master and CTM allotment stores which led to huge reduction in management expenses incurred by International Ship Owners

• Confidence Shipping founded the Ocean Education and Research Centre (OERC) to introduce a 4-year Marine Engineering Degree course in partnership with the Mumbai of University

• CSC was one of the founding members of the Foreign Owners Representative and Ship Managers Association (FOSMA), India

• CSC was the first Indian company to provide trained sea farers for Panamax Container Vessels, Very Large Gas Vessels for Japan and Europe
